Johanna is an Associate Principal at MNLA, where she has served as a pivotal leader, guiding high-profile planning and urban design initiatives since joining the firm in 2008. With an expansive portfolio and extensive knowledge in the education sector, Johanna successfully directs MNLA teams across a spectrum of projects, ranging from universities to multi-family residential developments to other complex cultural, and institutional campus plans. Johanna's impactful leadership consistently sets the design direction for the team, ensuring the delivery of innovative and contextually relevant solutions across various geographical contexts.

Johanna's impressive track record includes spearheading projects that showcase her adaptability and deep understanding of the nuances within different urban environments. Her accomplishments have contributed to MNLA's prominence, exemplified by the prestigious awards received for notable projects such as the Kim and Tritton Residence Halls at Haverford College, Kane Park at the University of Pennsylvania, and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation-David Rockefeller River Campus at The Rockefeller University. These accolades further solidify her reputation as a trailblazer in the field of landscape architecture and urban design. Johanna earned her Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
