The Gateway Residences in Manhattan's Battery Park City were looking tired after 20 years of use. MNLA was retained to reposition the site's landscape in support of interior renovations. The secluded open spaces now provide much loved high-end amenities to residents. Major exterior improvements include the renovation of an existing 15,000 sf outdoor courtyard area, a central lawn, and strolling areas that function as multi-purpose space for families and singles alike. The lawn space is equally adaptable to tossing a ball as it is to hosting a summer movie event. The expanded pool deck and lush perimeter plantings breathe fresh life into this formerly enclosed facility. With filtered views of the Hudson River and ample sun exposure, the pool is an extremely popular spot for residents.

The new pool and lush perimeter plantings breathe fresh life into this formerly enclosed and outdated facility.
