MNLA designed the landscape and entry experience for the new Medical and Research Translation (MART) Building (240,000 gsf) and Bed Tower (225,000 gsf) on the Stony Brook University Medical Center campus on the north shore of Long Island. The two buildings serve as transformational projects for education, research, and health care delivery. The landscape design creates a woven palette of four distinct zones (Woodland Edge, Woodland Edge Meadow, View Corridor Entry Drive, and Open Courtyard) to integrate the new architecture into the surrounding campus. The $423M project opened in 2018.
