Tribeca Green is one of several residential buildings designed to comply with Battery Park City's high standards for sustainable development. MNLA's  green roof is an 8,400 sf space at the mechanical setback level, graphically composed to be viewed from the adjacent residential towers. It employs geometric patterns of plants to provide seasonal interest and to resist drought and desiccation.

The many varieties of sedum were planted in geometric patterns on the roof are interesting to observe from surrounding buildings.

MNLA's green roof was designed in accordance with Battery Park City's innovative Green Building Guidelines.
